Whilst on a drive through Wamuran (Queensland), we found a quiet little patch of green known as Jackson Park - a spot that carries more history than meets the eye. This area is tied to some of the region’s early pioneering families, including the Andersons, who helped shape the farming community long before Wamuran became known for its fruit‑growing fame. It’s one of those places where you can almost feel the stories tucked into the landscape.

The Anderson family’s legacy still echoes through the orchards, old farm blocks, and the community spirit that defines Wamuran today. It’s a tiny reminder that even the smallest parks can hold the biggest pieces of local history.
