Picnic Break at Forgan Cove
After a big morning of photography around the Samsonvale area, we wrapped up with the perfect recharge stop, a picnic at Forgan Cove! This quiet little spot on the edge of Lake Samsonvale delivered exactly what we needed: calm water views, shady trees, and a front‑row seat to the local birdlife.
There’s something special about taking a breather in a place where the only soundtrack is the breeze and the lake. A pretty great way to end a morning of exploring and capturing the beauty of the region.
Fresh air, good food, and a peaceful corner of Queensland, hard to beat
