# We’ve been diving into the story of the humble Honda CT90 and later the CT110. These aren’t just motorbikes - they’re genuine national icons!

Since the 1970s, these bright‑red workhorses have been buzzing through suburbs, dodging wheelie bins, befriending neighbourhood dogs, and delivering everything from birthday cards to phone bills.

The CT90 kicked things off with its step‑through frame and go‑anywhere attitude… then the CT110 arrived and said, “Hold my helmet.” Tougher, louder, and basically unstoppable, it became the official ride of the Aussie postie for decades.

Rain, hail, heatwave, magpie season - didn’t matter. These bikes just kept chugging along.

But like all good things, eventually they have to come to an end. After nearly 50 years as the backbone of Australia’s delivery fleet, the iconic postie motorbikes are giving way to cleaner, greener electric three‑wheelers and modern electric motorbikes.

So here’s to the machines that carried a million letters and just as many stories!

Ridden one? Owned one? Tell us your postie bike story below!

Long live the postie bike.
