# Today’s Random Adventure: Greenwoods Pond!

Our Google Maps “random location” game delivered a winner today, it dropped us right at Greenwoods Pond on Corvus Drive in Cashmere, a peaceful little hideaway we had no idea existed.

This cosy pond is wrapped in trees and open grass, the kind of spot that doesn’t try too hard. No playgrounds, no fancy facilities, just quiet water, soft breezes, and that effortless calm you only find in places that stay under the radar.

Birds everywhere, shady corners to escape the sun, and a hush that makes suburbia feel miles away. It’s one of those spots where you stop for a moment and suddenly realise twenty minutes have passed.

Sometimes the best discoveries are the ones you never planned, just a lucky roll of the digital dice.
