In this episode of Ripples in Time, we use a little animation magic to revisit 1938, when Nundah (Queensland) marked the centenary of European settlement with a ceremony full of pride, heritage, and strong civic spirit. The celebration centred on local landmarks such as the First Free Settlers Monument and featured speeches from civic leaders, church representatives, and descendants of the original German missionaries who founded the settlement in 1838. AI animation inspired by public‑domain photographs held by the Queensland State Archives. #thedavemalouchannel #history #ripplesintime #nundah #1938
